Welcome to Dynamic Shotokan Karate – KWF England
We are proud to be part of the Karatenomichi World Federation, dedicated to teaching traditional Shotokan Karate in a supportive and disciplined environment.
Based in the heart of Balham, South London (at Balham Leisure Centre), our club welcomes both children and adults of all experience levels—from complete beginners to advanced practitioners. Our training focuses on developing speed, power, and flexibility, helping students progress in both skill and confidence as they work towards mastery.
Founded in 1988 by Sensei Sid Tadrist, our club was created to share the lifelong benefits of Shotokan Karate and its principles of respect, discipline, and self-defence.

Beginners membership
In dojo training at our London dojo every Saturday, two additional online sessions every Monday and Wednesday evening. Open to all ages a great way to start your karate journey.
Advanced membership
In dojo training at our London dojo every Saturday, two additional online sessions every Monday and Wednesday evening. Masterclass sessions and invitations to attend worldwide training events. Open to 1st dan black belts and more senior dan students
Virtual membership
Online training twice per week, every Monday and Wednesday. Access to virtual training resources that are created regularly as part of our weekly training programme. This membership is aimed at students with karate experience who may have attended an international training seminar hosted by Sensei Sid Tadrist
